Qualified Teacher & Spanish Language Educator

I’m Sara, a qualified teacher and native Spanish speaker with experience in both English and Spanish educational settings. I hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), an Enhanced DBS certificate, and Paediatric First Aid training.

My academic background includes two Master’s degrees: a Master’s in Bilingual Education from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria and a Master’s in Advanced Skills in Infant, Primary and Secondary Education from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. I also hold a Degree in Primary Education from Universidad Camilo José Cela and a Degree in Early Childhood Education from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

Over the years, I have worked across a wide range of educational settings, including primary schools, nurseries and teaching roles in both the UK and Spain. My experience has included teaching Reception, Year 1 and primary-aged pupils, delivering English lessons across primary year groups, supporting children’s development in nursery settings and working closely with families, schools and teaching teams.

For the past three years, I have also taught Spanish both in person and online, working with children, teenagers and adults. I currently provide personalised Spanish tuition to learners at different levels, including beginners, GCSE and A-Level students.

I am familiar with both AQA and Edexcel GCSE Spanish specifications and can support students with speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, revision and exam preparation.

As a native Spanish speaker with C1-level English, I am able to explain language clearly and adapt lessons to each learner’s age, confidence level, goals and preferred learning style.

My Teaching Approach

I believe that every student learns differently. I aim to create lessons that are clear, supportive and engaging while giving students the confidence to make mistakes, ask questions and progress at their own pace.

I use a combination of structured teaching, practical activities, conversation, repetition and personalised resources to help students make steady progress and enjoy the learning process.

A Little More About Me

Outside the classroom, I’m a keen runner and enjoy marathons and triathlons. I also love spending time with my family and reading. I believe that learning never really stops, and I enjoy continuing to develop both personally and professionally.
